Visit your career services department to apply for enrollment and please note that we only accept a maximum of 2 students per HBCU each semester. In order to qualify for an Intern Housing Grant, the student must meet or satisfy the following criteria:
       
              QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a current HBCU student in good academic standing.Must have an internship in or about the Washington, D.C. area for the applicable semester (Fall, Spring, Summer)
  • Must be on track to graduate and continue to receive academic credit during the internship.
  • Must demonstrate a financial need.
  • Must have an advisor or mentor during the internship, preferably a person located in the Washington, DC area.
  • Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.7.
  • Must have the recommendation of the student’s HBCU or Liaison.
  • A Junior or Senior HBCU undergraduate is preferred.

Applications for the Intern Housing Grant Opens July 1st, 2024 close on August 16th, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST. Any applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed. It is mandatory for all applications to be signed by a university liaison.
